It would be great if you could matchup teams from different eras. Also,be able to play all-time teams against each other. (All-Time Red Sox vs All-time Yankees)

you can. Create a league with the teams you want. You can import any team from ay year. 27 yankees vs 2005 White Sox etc. You can have teams play each other in Simulation Mode also, any 2 teams in your league.
There was a quickstart available that has this. i dont have 14 but it has been in every version that i have had since 11.
Also I have Captain Walrus all time league for 13. Is has 2 teams for every team 48 teams overall. Pale Hose which is White Sox player 1901 -1950. White Sox 1951-2010. 2 Negro League teams. 2 Pre 1900 teams.
let me know if you want it you can download the demo for 13 and convert it to 14.
