60-day DL for extended roster players?
I let the AI manage my minor league teams with only limited input from me. When players get injured in the minors, the AI generally puts them on the minor league disabled list. Right now I have a pitcher on my 40-man roster who tore his UCL while playing at the AAA level. Shouldn't I be able to transfer him to the 60-day DL? Seems rather silly that he would have to clog up a 40-man roster spot for the next 10 months.

I believe he would acquire ML service time, if you did.....so I don't think you'd want that.....

That, and the fact that under the rules a player has to be on the 25-man active list in order to be placed on either of the major league DLs. If the player is on the roster of a minor league club at the time of his injury, he goes on the minor league DL.

And whatever LGO says. ![]() Edit; You might be able to take him off the 40-man. Attempt to place him on waivers and see if the game gives you the option to remove him if claimed.
