waiver problem

Using the MLB roster set. Starting season 2 playing as STL. It's late in spring training, just a few games left, and the AI just made a massive dump of players (several hundred) to the waiver over several consecutive days. It looks like players that should have been optioned to the minors but were instead put on irrevocable waivers and DFA'd. Many of these are very highly rated players and are immediately snapped up on waivers. I have a second human manager set up as commish. When I act as commish and return the players to their original teams any players with a ML contract are immediately waived and DFA'd again despite the fact that all of these teams have only 28 or 30 players on the 40-man roster. This changes the scope of the entire leauge as many of these are very good, young players with ML minimum contracts. Very frustrating after having played an entire season.

Can anyone help?

waiver problem

Do you have roster limits on ur minor league teams? What settings are you using as far as how the AI evaluate players? Are you using scouting? If so, how accurate are they?

No roster limit in any minor leauge. AI evaluation at default settings - 65/20/10/5. Yes, using scouting and my scout is very highly rated.

Were talking about names like Travis D'arnaud, Zach Wheeler, Jackie Bradley Jr., Christian Yelich, Jedd Gyorko, etc. Teams' best prospects.

Thanks for the replies guys. I've gone through all the game & league set-up screens looking for any clue why this would happen. Only one guess. Could it have anything to do with allowing/not allowing incomplete minor leauge rosters (ghost players)?
