Next Update?

Any word on the next update?

Looks like it'll be tomorrow instead of today. We've done some major overhauls to the way players are named (no more English names for every new player) and the system for generating attributes for incompletely-rated players, and we're going to need one more internal build to test to verify that we've got the serious bugs out of them. That'll go to the testers later today, and we'll fix any problems afterwards, so the update will likely be out midday tomorrow in Europe/morning in North America.

After that's out, the remainder of this week will be spent on the implementation of the new player generation system, which, once its done, will bring player generation, development, and background movement up to release level, minus whatever small amount of fine-tuning is necessary between now and September. We're hoping we can get you a version with all of that working before we head to New York next Wednesday.

That is great news guys, can you give us an idea of what IS coming in the next update with a write up? Give us something to salivate over? lol

I hope you nail player generation and play dev, that along with realistic simming is what keeps me hooked.

How is the trade engine AI coming?

Will find out in tomorrows update to see if they've worked on the trading AI but dont be suprised if it hasn't been worked on yet i'm more worried about the crashing being fixed so I can at least play in a few years. But I am also looking forward for the trading to be worked on

dont forget guys . last night jeff said he is from western canada . so he got around 3 or 4 hours less than us in eastern america , in euro got 10 hours less so for him actually he is 1:00 pm or less . stay cool he did everything he can to put on the line something gonna work im sure for that

Well I hope everything is alright with the update I know they are working really hard on it so I understand they dont have much time to tell us whats happening.

I know you are excited but just be patient. I have been with the company since it's original product and these guys take careof their customers. It might be later, but it'll come and it'll be good.

Still working on it, guys. There's one last stubborn problem with the new player naming system choking on certain Czech letters, Sebastian's trying to beat it into submission right now.
