Erasing Service Time of Specific Players?
Is this possible? In my league I have tried creating a free agent and then erasing this free agent's service time (since he hasn't played for anyone), but it will not disappear.
My ultimate goal is to add 6 teams to my league while contracting two for a net gain of 4 teams, but I do not want to do an expansion draft. There aren't enough players in my free agent pool to populate the incoming teams, so I'm not sure how I can give them players unless I repopulate the free agent pool (but I'd rather not have players with service time even though they haven't played with anyone making up these new teams). EDIT: I just tried creating a new team and filling only that team with fictional players. I clicked on one of the players and was able to successfully edit that player's service time. Still can't do it with free agents though. Very confused.

To reset the service time of the players, go to the league menu, advances settings, league setup section. After this, go to the ''functions'' part and look at your left, you'll have plenty of options to reset everything such as service time

Sorry I misread your question, go to manager options and set commissioner mode to ''on''. Go to your player profile and click on ''editor''. There will be a place to set service time to ''0''

Thanks, but what I'm saying is that was what I was doing. However, once I went to another page within the game it would reset for some reason.

I don't have the game available so I can't check this out. In my fictional historical league I regularly reset FA's service time to zero without problems. I think that the player needs to be signed by a team first before you can change it. Also, remember that you need to hit enter after you make the edits.

And if you are resetting FA's service to 0 after they are signed, then you are not setting the service time of a free agent...... |
