Can't offer minor league contracts with or without signing bonuses

well.. I go to offer a fa a contract.. and he wants a minor league contract with a 650k signing bonus.... I go to meet his demand.. but some of the buttons are ghosted out... I make the offer and he says he isn't a minor league offer kinda guy .. but in next line says he wants a minor league contract... can't change the offer or anything.... thought I saw this in another thread... and thought if was fixed in last patch... but is isn't... any suggestions for work arounds or any idea when this may be fixed?

I believe if you hit ask for response instead of meet demand, it will submit the offer, but as far as I can tell, if you hit meet demand first, then the player can't be signed to a minor league deal (still using the last patch though, so dunno if it's changed in the new one)
