[FIX] Workaround for freeze bug

Seems like I accidentally found a temp fix for your screen freezing up and the need to hit escape or for some to even have to use the end task function.

I was experiencing this bug and was getting frustrated (escape key was not working for me) since I couldn't play any pbp games.

I never play with the sound or ball animation on so I turned those off and never got the freeze problem again.

Seems like it's the ball animation causing the problem.

That's definitely the issue...it was previously identified though-see first bolded part in above post.
