Hitting potential in the draft
I'm still playing around with league setup, trying to get things perfect before I start a new universe, and am having trouble with contact potential.
With player creation modifiers left at default I only have 1-2 players with a 13 or higher contact potential on a 1-20 scale. Every draft it's the same with only a player or two. Scouting is turned off, league is 16 teams with 21 rounds of players generated for a 15 round draft. I know players will take potential hits pushing them higher than their draft day potential but does this seem correct to everyone? I'm going to sim ahead ~40 years and see what the contact ratings look like for the established players. Just curious if this seemed right to everyone.

I've set up my league with feeder leagues, and set the draft to 60 rounds, produce for 70, and I've had NOT one prospect in the draft with above a 50 potential (20/80 scale). Not ONE, in two draft pools.

This was talked about a little in this thread:
http://www.ootpdevelopments.com/boar...y-tweaked.html I just finished my first fictional season, and at least in my extremely tiny sample size, the numbers looked good at the end of the season. So my feelings right now are that things were heavily tweaked but the end results may be fine.
