Waiver oddities
I've just started season two and have noticed some really weird AI behaviour with the waiver wire. On the day the season started Chicago waived Hossa, Hjalmarsson, Stalberg, Frolik, Rozsival (all 3 stars or higher).
About a month later Edmonton simultaneously waived the following: Ales Hemsky, Pierre-Marc Bouchard, Marcus Johansson, Sam Gagner, Jordan Eberle, Ryan Smyth, Taylor Hall, Andy Sutton, Ladislav Smid and Bryan Allen. The only thing I can see that might have triggered that is that Jeff Petry got injured that day. As a Flames fan I don't mind this at all, but that's about half of the team that is about to be claimed at once. |

OK, this is a game-breaker at the moment. Every few weeks another team is giving away most of their stars on waivers. So far I've claimed Hossa, Seguin, Marchand and passed on Bobby Ryan, Krejci, and a bunch of others. As long as I keep freeing up cap space it's trivial to put together an all-star team. It's also leading to massive turnover on all of the rosters.

Yeah, in my game I have been able to claim Marc Staal, Ryan Nugent-Hopkins, David Krejci, Michael Del Zotto, Matt Duchesne and Ryan McDonagh. And there were other 3 and 4 star players available.
