Need help with this

I recently got into the history of the Federal League and wanted to recreate this in OOTP 14. I have an idea of sorts how to go about it but basically I want it to mirror real life where the Federal League was going while MLB was also. I want to play the Federal League but have the MLB exist in the universe. If I'm just slow or something I'm sorry, just want to get it right the first try. Thanks all

It's easy to do. Just add a fictional league to the MLB universe. txranger & No Pepper ahve all the Fed's uniforms. Depending on which logo style you like, both the guys mentioned have logos as does justafan on page 1 of his thread. Gambo should have some if not all of the stadiums is his stadium set and he does have the park dimensions and factors in his 2011 seating chart. Also Spritz dB should have the players from the league PM him for that info.
When I get 14 soon i am going to do a fictional league that has all leagues that ever existed starting in 1871.

Thanks for the info Game, I really appreciate it. The only question I have is regarding how to use the dB as I've never used one outside of what comes with the game

My current league other than a couple day to day league I am running is a world where all the leagues exist. I started in 1871, adding teams as the league existed and once a league ended, just as in 1875 when the NA closed, I just made a new fictional league, moved the teams from the NA to the new NA and changed the original league to the NL. THis gave me two leagues. The new NA league became an evoliving league and the new NL kept all the history. Did this for all the leagues and as of the end of 1901, I have 6 total leagues. The National Association, The American Association, The Players League, the Union Association the National Baseball League (teams that existed in the NL before the merger with the AL) and of course the MLB with AL and NL teams. I use a website called MVP Total Classics to get the year my year info (http:/home.mvptotalclassics.com). It shows each year and all you got to do is follow along. The additions take some work, leagues having odd numbers of teams and such, but in the end, it works out.

Just have the federal league to add in 1914 and the world will be complete.

It is fun but does take a little work.

Download which DB you want to use if you want historical players. Gambo and Spritz have a few differences. To put it in a n existing game. Find where you downloaded it. and copy the folder as seen in my example below using the keyboard (crtl-c to copy and crtl-v to paste) in the historical database path section under league setup.

C:\Documents and Settings\HP_Administrator\My Documents\OOTP 11 DL\RealDebutRealTeamAllPlayers\RealDebutRealTeamAl lPlayers

Thats's for Gambo's DB. I use both Gambo and Spritz for different leagues. Gambo has real debut less players, Spritz has players at 18 and more players. See their thread for more info.
The only thing is you may have to either associate the FED league or have players become FA vs go to their original teams and then manually place the real FED league players on the correct teams but then you would have to do so with MLB players. Post in their thread they can answer this better then I can. I have not tried FED league with real players on their real teams.

What abut PCL? Cooleyvol has a PCL schedule on ootpmods.com and both Cooleyvol and No Pepper have made all the PCL uniforms.
My league when i get 14 will be like yours fictional starting as the NA, NL in 1876, AA in 1882? then whatever other league I may be missing til 1901 when they become MLB. PCL when it debuts. NBL when it comes in (would love to be able to use a different DB for each league) (Markus OOTP15) FED then the other modern leagues ***, Cuba etc.

Ty

Thanks again for all you help you guys, I'm off to a good start so far. I have all the teams, logos, parks, and owners set up, now it's just a matter of putting players onto the fed teams. Here's a pic to show my appreciation and the start of work on this league
