I'd recommend adding goal totals and assist totals in the box score.

example:

Goal: Taylor Hall (5) Assists Sam Gagner (3) Jeff Schultz (2)

So it was Hall's 5th goal of the season, Gagner's 3rd assist and Shultz' 2nd assist.
