Has anybody tried using this as a feeder? Does it work well? How can you use it as a feeder with this many schools? I a redhorn when it comes to using feeders, so any advice or help is greatly appreciated.

As a Cal Bear fan, I am thrilled about NCAA universe mod. I hope I can figure out OOTP soon so I can play Division 1 ball.

Just noticed this in Add Ons Central.... is it good to go after I download and install all parts? And how do I/can I set this up as a feeder?

Go to the ncaa league setup page and click the rules tab. On the left there is an option to "set this league as a feeder" or something like that. Select the league you want to feed it to. You may have to be in pre or off season to do it..not sure on that though.

First off I just want to say thanks for all your hard work and for this mod. I love it. Now I am only a couple of weeks into my season and I know you cant recruit new players but my question is how do you get new players for your team?

Ok so maybe someone can help me out. I am trying to modify this mod. lol. I basically want to use it as a universe where the college teams are the pro teams. What all do I need to change to allow myself to do this properly?

I can´t see this at all.
It´s Select Fed League, but I can only pick NONE in the league option.

What must I do....

That's the option, but it might be that you can only feed the MLB or a league who's level is designated as an mlb type league and if you don't have that type of league you have no feeder options available. I honestly don't know if that's true or not though, but I suspect it is.

I downloaded from the link on page 1. Why all the garbage associated with this? Locked my PC up running some optimizer. I think it installed some anti spyware or anti virus. Norton hated the download and it changed my homepage. i know all easy things to fix but once again why all the garbage associated with this. It also froze OOTP.

No offense, but did you read the fine print they like to sneak in..
In other words, did you uncheck this:
"Download with sendspace accelerator and get recommended offers"??
If not that's why you got the garbage..

I did read it yes, but did not see a box to uncheck for all of the addons.

What year is supposed to be the start year for this league? I wanted to start in 2000 but my league had problems with the schedule and I don't feel like using a generic schedule for your league. using it as a feeder for a MAL league.

Gotta love them check boxes.

Start in any year you want if you use the .tpl file.
As for the schedule prob. If I remember right I had to reconfigure the schedules' element line to get it to import.

Will do tomorrow. I think my version is more up to date than Rod's since I've edited a lot of ratings since I last sent him a version.

Just be aware, what we have is really in no shape for immediate inclusion in WOB without a LOT of extra work, generating fake players to fill in for rosters that aren't full, etc.

And the D1 teams that we haven't gotten to yet are filled with players named Fake Fake, while the D1 teams that Rod's filled bio data for but I haven't rated yet have the real names and bio data but have ratings that are really way off.

So I absolutely wouldn't suggest that what we have as of now be included in WOB yet. It's incredibly impressive, if I do say so myself, but it needs much more time and much more work!

I'd think that we could have a pretty decent version, nearly fully done, by the draft if all goes well, by the end of summer if not.

Still, I'll post the latest version and let you take a look so you can see what's going on.

I should have the OVC done and maybe one more later this eve. that you can include Lucas. Got all the data, just need to copy it over the the fake rosters so IDs and positions match.

Read through all of the posts, and I have seen this asked a few times but not totally answered.

If I played this as a stand alone universe, what happens after year 1? Obviously OOTP doesn't support "recruiting", so how do the teams add new players?

Ok guys......I feel like a noob!

I am wanting to play the NCAA game that Nutt has worked on so hard for us. I have OOTP14 and don't know how to import this league to work with it. I first tried from league add-ons, d/l, installed, but there is no league available.

I then tried extracting with winzip, it extracted logos, caps, and jerseys, but no league startup. I know this is operator error and I'm sure that this is probably obvious to everyone but me......but what do I need to do to make this work in OOTP14? I have searched the forum to no avail!

Help? Please?

I LOVED Nutt's NCAA World. Is there anyway to play it on OOTP 14? I have tried different things but I am not able to download it and play it..Does anyone know how?
