Coach Ratings Very Low for Retired Players

Is there any correlation between player intelligence, leadership, or baseball ratings and their coach ratings?

Every player I have turned into a coach has had consistently very poor coach ratings. I understand that many excellent coaches in the real world had undistinguished professional careers, but not all of them.

Is there any way to predict which players will become good coaches? Is it possible for a user-created coach to be good?

I believe most manually converted players will have low ratings. I do believe they improve over time though.
