X-Rays are negative on Cespedes and Crisp is supposedly day-to-day.

With Moss's wife just about to give birth, Cespedes and Crisp hurting, that's a very, very small bench.

Cespedes to the DL with strained thumb muscle and Michael Taylor has been called up.

They pretty much had to make a move with as banged up as the OF is.

Well it was a nice streak but the weekend was pretty forgettable. On the bright side, we're still 9-4 and the Astros come to town next.

The A's are a completely different team without Cespedes.

This is very true. We saw this last year as well. Hopefully he's only out the 15 days this time, and it sounds like that will be the case.

I goto a meeting and it's 1-0 Houston. Come back and it's 6-0 A's!

Sorry, I forgot. But it looks like you didn't need the reminder.

I see S. Peterson in the boxscore and I immediately think of Scott Peterson.

Creepy... Well he's likely headed back to Sac now as Brandon Moss should be back from paternity leave for the Rays series.

Pretty amazing that the A's played so well they actually took Houston's run off the board.

6-1.... 6-0..... It doesn't matter when you're playing Houston.

Thank god for Cespedes coming back. It's been painful the last 2 weeks.

Wow.

What a game so far, going extra innings with the Angels. Kinda disappointed Cespedes stood and watched his single off the wall... but...wow!

Edit: Oh my!! I thought it was over. Really weird to see from the angle the A's coverage had but I thought for sure I could see the "O" sign wiggle as the ball ricocheted off it.

Now all these players are getting injured after the game should have already been over with that HR in the 10th.

I cannot believe I am still watching this game.. Guess the Michael Taylor experience begins again if Young and Coco have to miss significant time.

I was in Korea watching it which made it much easier (ended in the afternoon here).
