Who To Be?
I am wanting to start a 2013 MLB game, but I have no clue who to be. I need suggestions. And please say why I should be that team.

If you want a challenge, the Astros.
They have NOTHING. Well, at least not anywhere near the majors. |

Hey Oliver, unrelated question, but did you used to have a different user name?
I say Pirates. Everyone loves Pittsburgh.

I should have just looked at your 'join date'. Your user name reminds me of someone else's I haven't seen in a while.

Just torture yourself and see if you have the patience and resolve to start in class A ball as a manager. You'll have to deal with constant roster moves that are outside your control, but it might give you a very different OOTP experience.
And, if you work your way up to the big leagues, then by that time your world will be quite different from 2013 MLB, and your choice will be based on which jobs are available and who offers you a job (assuming that you're not in commissioner mode). If you want a hint for starting in A ball, I'd recommend the California League. Maybe Lancaster, Inland Empire, or High Desert. |

First season with the Twins tanked here too. Last in Central but not as bad as the last few years.

This is what I did, and it was an interesting experience. I decided I didn't just want to commish my way to the big leagues so I was in Mets farm system as a manger from 2013-2015 and in 2016 was offered some ML jobs. If you really want a challenge or a manager experience different than the GM experience you get from the ML team, starting in the lower farm teams could be good. It is slightly boring in the offseason because you literally have nothing you can really do.
