Ballpark pictures not showing up
When I go to edit my team's ballpark, when I go to choose the photo, its not showing up. I have the files saved in the "ballparks" directory as instructed. Is there a specific file format or size I need?

It won't even change the picture when I select a default picture already on the game...I keep seeing the Phillies ballpark...extremely frustrated at this point.

This is going to be a really stupid question, but are you selecting both the day and night pictures? The reason I ask, is if you aren't, this may be your problem.

Im doing both. Now for some reason, the default grass isn't showing up anymore, but just a grass surface and no stadium pic at all.

I guess its not possible to add your own pictures anymore. Nobody seems to know. I searched the forum for other topics, googled it, and nothing...

Ballpark pictures not showing up
I have the same problem. I have all the ballparks loading from the all in one mod but when I go into a game, its always the Phillies' real pic ball park.

You could always download the 2013 all in one mod...install it...load up your game. Go to any teams setup screen, goto the edit ballpark screen, click Picture & coordinates..click the import/export button and select auto import all ballparks..on that poputp click select and all 30 MLB ballpark pics will load. Both day and night.

Actually, that worked! I just said what the heck, Ill do .png, .bmp, and .jpg and tried all three and the .jpg worked!
I guess this can be an FYI for anyone else who may experience the same issue! Last edited by PaulSulzbacher; 04-16-2013 at 02:16 PM. |

Sorry to single you out because we all forget to check the manual at times, but the manual does state to use jpgs - Out of the Park Baseball Manual

I wasn't trying to be a dick, just reminding that the manual can be helpful.

I was able to get the day/night photos to work. However, If you choose to try to manually import the webcast stadium photo it will not load. I was kind of hoping to use those files for my stadium photos.

It should work if you open the webcast picture in a photo editor and save it as a jpg. It at least showed up in the ballpark editor. I didn't try it from within playing a game.

I know you weren't trying to be a dick, but when you put in, "not trying to single you out", it can come across wrong. I understand what you are saying and appreciate you pointing that out about the manual.

Ihatenames, try it as a .jpg as Rob said. It worked for me. I noticed that the default stadium files are about 600 x 600...see if resizing them to that helps.

As others have said it needs to be converted to jpg...renaming to jpg won't work. I resized them to be 1080x1080 and that looked pretty good in game.
