Turned off "Pause after each play" - can't stop it

You'd think after 5 years, I'd know how to play this game!

I turned off "Pause after each play" and now I can't get it to "stop" when I'm pitching. How can I fix this?

Turn the "Pause after each play" back on.

Funny! That was what I thought - but my PC is just too fast and it wouldn't let me. I just had to rapid click and eventually it 'took'.

I won't be doing that again!
