Stats Only Setting

I saw stats only settings posted earlier, does anyone have a good set? With stats only is it best to play w scouting off?

Keep scouting on, so you still have the text scouting reports.

I usually use 0/60/30/10 or something along those lines. Sometimes I weight the past more so one fluke year doesn't have too much influence.
