since OOTP 5 or 6.

I enjoyed the game then, but I'm still on the fence here. Can you still manage the games individually? And - how is the trade AI?

Yes and it far more expansive now. The trade ai is worlds better. The facegens really add a lot to the experience. Far more stuff added but those 3 are a good start.

One last question - if i were to play the 2013 schedule - would it be this years real schedule or a random one?
