Not on App Store for Mac? Why?

By any chance, when is it possible to expect OOTP 14 to be released on the App Store. I love 13 but i'm waiting to see if 14 comes out on the App Store so i can get it there. It's not that i wouldn't buy it directly from OOTP but its easier, transactional-wise, for me to buy it from the App Store and download it on there without having to deal with browser problems and slow downloading speeds off the internet.

So I'll reiterate my question....When can we expect to see OOTP Baseball 14 to appear for sale in the App Store on Macs? Two weeks from now, a month, two months....just asking for a rough estimate of time.

Just want to point out, if you buy from the App Store, you will always be waiting longer. They get games/patches and then run them through their own testing. This can take a couple weeks sometimes.

OOTP has no control over when they release it either, all they can do is release it to the App Store then wait for them to do their thing.

Also, if you buy from the App store you will not have real team names/logos etc. This is not a big deal though as you can add all these things through Add-Ons Central in game.

Just going by experience, I've seen a fair number of posts from people over the years who bought from the App store and always had to wait. They weren't happy campers.

Anyway, just wanted to be sure you were aware of this. It's much quicker and better for the end user to buy directly from OOTP.

This will take a while, a month minimum. Apple forces us to introduce a weird sandbox mode for which we need to XCode 4, which does not work with many of our libraries.

So, I suggest you download & purchase it from us, this is the better solution anyway as patches & updates are available sooner for the normal version as they do not have to pass the Apple review process.
