Question on minor leagues

With the current year MLB set-up, when I look at the Mets minor leagues it lists Savannah above St. Lucie. Savannah is low A and St. Lucie is high A.

How are other teams listed? I want to be sure guys are at the right levels.

In some menus, the low and high A teams are flipped. I don't know why.

I thought as far as OOTP goes there was no high A or low A. Just A?

The PCMs (or something along those lines) are slightly higher for the high-A leagues than for the low-A, so in theory the game should treat them appropriately. There is some question regarding whether or not the game treats them that way in practice.

There are not the same. We have had this discussion. Flipping the PCMS flipped over half the players the next day of the sim. The game differentiates. What it does not do is differentiate in the way we think it should. What the AI thinks is the better player and more ready for high A is often much different from what I think.

However, testing has proved the PCMs make a difference within label. It flips most of the team when you switch high A and low A settings or advanced rookie and rookie settings. You can not make a league labeled A above AA though. Granted I still don't agree mostly with the AI placement of those guys in high A and low A but flipping PCMs puts the guys the AI thinks are solid for high A into the new high A team and those it thinks are not ready into the new low A team. There were borderline guys who did not change.

It makes a difference. The AI placement of players is the issue not the PCMs eg., 40 y/os in rookie ball.
