Teams playing a different amount of games?

In the major league quickstart in 2018. I checked the preseason predictions to find that teams are playing games ranging from 146-160. The games played changed from 162 to 158 a couple years ago. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Do you have league evolution on? If so, then events such changing the length of the schedule or the size of the active roster can happen.

I don't think that's what he's talking about, LGO. I think he means that some teams only play 146 games while others play as many as 160.

Yougo1000, I would recommend going into the league setup (I forget where, exactly) and have the game generate a new schedule for the season (assuming you haven't started it yet). I think the game got itself confused with the games played change or something.

I have played the season already but I will check for next time and regenerate schedule if needed.

I noticed something like this in my ootp 13 major league setup. It was almost 2030 and computer changed the amount of games to 154. Well about 10 years later I changed it back to 162 games but the teams ended up playing 148 games. I made sure to make a new schedule and everything but no matter what, the teams kept playing less then the amount I specified.
