Delete Player Option

In 13, I used to be able to deleted players, mostly the steroid players so they wouldn't hold records. Bonds, Clemens, McGwire Sosa, etc....

I am not seeing the ability to do that anymore. Am I missing something.

I should say this is when using the 2013 all in one download.

Nevermind I figured it out, it was because I had a saved game going on. Finished the game and it worked fine.

That's so funny. I do the exact same thing when playing an historic game, and delete those exact same 4 players.

retire them. cleaner than a delete as far as the history index is concerned.

Let's say player X is 11th in homeruns and is active. If you delete player x then if you are ever in the index and click that players hyperlink it will take you to a recycle player. Really sucks when you wan to go back and look at award winners for previous seasons and you end up seeing some rookie-league scrub instead of the real guy that won the award.

This happened to me...I was clearing free-agents and using delete. Big mistake. Use retire.

Why cut t to just those four? Why not Palmeiro, Ortiz and Manny and anyone else that played significant time from the Mitchell report? Just curious.
