Instead of looking at the achievement page as a gimmick, I'm seeing it as perhaps a compilation of significant milestones in my organization. For example, perhaps it will show when one of my guys pitched a no-hitter or hit three homers in one game. I would welcome a page like that for reminiscences. Let's see.

![]() I do like this idea though. Owners have personalities, so GM's, managers, and coaches should develop a reputation and personality over time based on their actions. I would think that reputation should effect career choices somewhat. |

we see players get suspended for fights and other stuff, what about having managers getting kicked out of the game for arguing with umps and even suspension for post-game comments.
taking it even further, I would love to see more of an impact from coaches like Buck in Baltimore last year. He took an avg roster and turned them into a 90 win club. plus have team chemistry play a bigger role in the "clubhouse" and player affects. |

you hear the phrase, "change the culture" a lot now a days in MLB but like Harold Reynolds likes to debate with Brian Kelly on MLB Network, how do you quantify the importance and impact of the human factors like chemistry, clutch, teamwork, culture, ect.

if you pre-order before the deadline you should get an email letting you know when you can download game. there is no 'official' time of release, they release at different times so the servers don't crash

I'd like to see some thought given to team-level events. These would be, for example, a fire or structural accident at a park causing its closure for a number of games, forcing the club to play the games on the road instead of at home (this is especially significant for the late 19th and early 20th century when parks burned down in part or in whole with alarming regularity). There can also be some draft-related events, such as a club's draft pick being voided due to a rule violation, meaning the player becomes a free agent and all teams can then bid on him.

I remember back in OOTP 6.5 they had "Promotions" that you could sechedule to help boost attendance. I love that kind of small details. I would love to see that come back. Also, maybe some kind of "something" to do for pitchers/hitters who are in a bad slump. Maybe if a hitter is in the midst of a 3-20 slump he can go "watch some video" to see what he's doing wrong or schedule some extra BP on an off-day. Same with a pitcher, if he's getting rocked maybe get an extra bullpen session. Taking it even a little further maybe in the off-season add some options (1 pitcher, 1 hitter) to have guys try new off-season workouts to over come past injuries to reduce injury proneness or just to get in better shape as they near that post 30 era. just some thoughts. |
