The Yankees should be the biggest challenge if OOTP14 rates Spanky Steinbrenner as a 0-0 again. With all the injured money and aging players, rebuilding is a much greater task than with making Houston competitive for the first time in recorded history.

Astors will always hold a special place in my heart for fielding the worst NL champion team I have ever seen and allowing me to truly enjoy every bit of the 4 game beat down that was the 2005 World Series. Love it when the other team can't hit, makes winning so much easier .

I didn't even think Houston had a team anymore. Yeah, got uniforms and everything.

Hometown Twins of course. After I get the game I am going to fire it up on my laptop and then sit outside in snowing 30 degree temps to heighten the feeling of real April baseball in Minnesota. We may not have the worst team, but right now we have the worst weather. Nevertheless I do not miss the Metrodome.

As a Mets fan, I have to be the Mets. Thankfully, in real life, there are not in as bad as a situation as before. Unfortunately, it makes rebuilding less difficult. Also, Harvey better be an absolute beast or I will bug.

I usually have a fictional and real league going at the same time. My first real league will be with the Phillies, trying to rebuild an aging team.

Actually in my 1 week only MLB quickstart, I simmed 10 years forward from 2012, and then took over the Cubs in 2022, they won it in 2018 and 2020...I was actually hoping they wouldn't have won it before I took over, but they are actually in a cool spot for me. They have a TON of really old guys, who are still good, and NO decent prospects (I looked back at the drafts...and damn....ugly I say. They have fallen off as far as wins go though over the last 2 years since their World Series win in 2020, so it is time to rebuild again, which is what I like to do.

Using feeders and I'm going to see how far I can get in the game and how close I can get back to another World Series before Friday. I might even import it into 14.

Won it in 2018? You should play my Crosstown Cup Sox vs Cubs. I have a 2018 Cubs teams on there. A combo or real and fictional players. Castro, Samardzja, a guy who looks like Tupac.

Good to see several White Sox supporters! The Sox will have a new GM on Friday...me. The AL Central looks pretty competitive in 2013 so it should be a fun challenge.

I am mostly a fictional player so I'll import my OOTP13 league and continue on with my Detroit Hitmen.

Every year I try out a real MLB league with the Tigers but it never holds my interest very long and I go back to my fictional leagues. Maybe this year it will stick.

Do you havea full set of uniforms for them? i want to bring in the Chicago Hitmen for an Indy League. I have a logo and an alt uniforms.

I used the Uniform and logo from one of the add ons in add ons central. Can't remember the name of the add on off hand but it is a bunch of generic fictional logos/uniforms with all of the team colors already set. Really nice add on. That's where I got all the Logos for my current league.
