Which team will you manage with the new rosters?
Just 1 more day! Which team will you steer to glory? There are many intruiging teams now. I might pick up the Pirates and try getting them to a .500 season (again). Or go with the new look Braves. The Astros in their new division seem a fun challenge as well.. I also like the D'backs and A's this year...choices, choices..

I always take the Red Sox (someone has to right them), but the Astros do look interesting.

My first year ever buying the game. I live in Boston so I'm tempted to take the Red Sox, but the challenge of making the Cubs a winner may be calling to me.

Well i am a Tigers fan, but i am going to make an exception and start in 1978 when Whitaker and Trammell were budding prospects.

As a Cardinals fan, I always play with my Cards first. The Cardinals have such depth and talent in the minor leagues, will try to reload for another run at the NL Central.
After that, living in Denver dictates I must then try to rebuild the Rockies! Could the Cards trade from their plethora of young prospects, especially the right-handed power arms, and acquire Troy Tulowitzki? Would seem to make sense for both teams.....Tulo's long-term $$$$ contract makes me nervous, though. Should be fun!

Is your first move to finish off the rebuild and trade Stanton?
That's a tough call.

I would..Full rebuild mode: trade Stanton to the Red Sox for prospects. (Bogaerts and Brentz come to mind).

First move is going to be making Jeff Loria sell the team to Mickey Arison or Mark Cuban.

From Cleveland (Indians), live in Cincinnati (Reds), tempted to pick the same team from my last franchise (Royals), but I'm a NL fan so I gotta pick my favorite team there, right? (Pirates)

Royals, Royals, Royals.
We may finally have a rotation this year to compete for the AL Central. Last post-season appearance: 1985. But hey, we do have a 2-game post-season winning streak going! Then I will probably either take Washington so I can have Harper and Strassburg, or either Miami or San Diego to do some rebuilding. Will also have a Seamheads Laundry League type league going with a custom roster of about 1300 past and present MLB greats (same concept as the Seamheads roster, but a few different players/ratings). Me and a couple of friends can't wait to draft our teams in that one!

die hard Braves fan, so one game will def be with the new look Bravo's, but reading this thread gave me an idea. Born and raised Georgia boy, but I've lived in Nashville last 10-years and there was talk a few seasons ago about building a new stadium on the riverfront to "lure" a MLB franchise (TB/Miami) here. I might just do that, relocate TB (since Miami just got a new stadium) or Miami (would still fit into the NL East). Now I'm even more excited!

I would usually go Jays, but this year I'll go with the Pirates with the goal of turning them into a contender.

Royals. And the first thing I'm going to do is reverse the horrific Shields/Myers trade and build for the future as opposed to a doubtful present.

Always The Rays, though I might be tempted to try out some other teams. The Marlins seem like they could be a fun challenge.
