Park Factor Question
The LBA and RBA factors, are they BABIP or straight BA?
I would think BABIP would make more sense since it at least avoids double counting home runs, but Dark Cloud's generator seems to indicate that it is just BA. That said, the spreadsheet was made in 2008, so I'm wondering if that has been changed at some point along the line. First time player here (though a veteran of the FM series), so I haven't had a chance to test it empirically for myself, for obvious reasons. Thanks. [EDIT: I did search the forum for an answer first, but couldn't find any thread that specifically addressed the above] Last edited by Gerse; 04-10-2013 at 10:17 PM. |

I'm not sure, but I think it's straight BA. At least, that's what I've always assumed.

Not sure how I missed that page when I first went through the manual.
Thank you! |
