How do we receive the game?

This is the first year that I have pre-ordered. How do we receive the game? An email link to somewhere that we can download the game from?

The timing is always a mystery - if I recall correctly, the last couple of years it was in the early afternoon in the US - so late night in Germany.

As for how - OOTP sends an email with the download links to all that preordered. It will also be announced in this forum.

It has been 400 years since the last release of the old Earth Game, OOTP14. We are still waiting for OOTP15, as the star OOTP continues to rotate around the planet from an altitude of now 28,000 miles.

Scientists are still trying to figure it out. Led by Markus Jefferson Raht the 18th, a former pitcher of the Vulcan Yankees and MVP of the first ever Galactic World Series held in 2388, his team may have found what powers that star.

They say it was a fusion of Markus Heinsohn's DNA with the carbon tungsten matrix and an accidental spark caused by the simotaneous download of 100,000 OOTP fans at the announcement of the release of OOTP 14.

Mr. Raht promises the servers today can handle one hundred billion downloads simultaneously whenever they can regenerate Mr. Heinsohn's body with the DNA collected and OOTP 15 can be produced. Rear Admiral Data says they will fuse the DNA with his positron matrix and they should have finally OOTP 15 shortly aftewards.

That is if they can collect the DNA and make it understand that Apple was bought out in 2059 by Google Android systems after it was determined that an Apple system started The Great War.
