agreed. teams should not be forced to try and force players onto their system if they do not have room or need for them, or if they will just end up releasing them when they do not sign them. the draft rounds should be infinite, but teams should be able to end their draft at any time while the rest keep drafting until they are done. just like the real rule 4 draft.

This kinda reminds me of the Free Agents program for High Heat. Teams would be given an opportunity to sign a FA (FA was almost non existent in HH). You would offer a salary to a player, he would either agree or ask for more or say he wasn't interested. You could also skip a round if you wanted to.
