Before you playout a game, go to the options and preview section. On the left of the screen you'll have options for the AI team, your team. The third section is called 'General Game Options'. 2nd box in that section is Pitcher warmup.

Guys i have been playing OOTP14 for few days now and to me the issue has not been fixed. Every time the AI brings in a new pitcher it's either two/three walks to begin with or few consecutive hits allowed.
Is it just me, is it just a case of a small number of games or is the problem still affecting the game? |

Based on what??????![]() Let's look at the facts. So far in v.14 I'm still in the middle of my first season. So far I've played 117 games. I play out all my games alternating between 1-pitch mode and play-by-play mode and I use the warm-up rule. Below the stats of my opponents starters as well as relievers against my team. Here we can see everthing looks allright. Relievers walk more as well as strike out more. K/BB rate slightly worse than starters. All as we would expect. If you look at the league totals you see my team is in the middle of the pack in BB's, almost exactly league avarage. These results are completely different from the ones I got in previous versions with the warm-up rule. Based on these results I think it is save to say that the warm-up rule issue has indeed been resolved. |
