All Star Game

Is there/will there be a way to change who the home team is on an all star game? Or have I been missing something all these years.

Unless I am wrong, which can happen, no you can't. I used to always want to have my team have the 1st ASG in league history and it always went to the NL vs AL. So now when I do the 25, 50, 75, 100 anniversary to commemorate the ASG it is played in an NL park.

I'm curious about this as well. It's minor in the grand scheme of things, but I've often wished I could pick the site of the All-Star Game - maybe even have a news story announcing its location or something. We can manually vote for all-stars - why not manually select the stadium hosting it? I know in real life those announcements come a couple years in advance usually, but for the game's sake I think it would be fine to just do it at the same time you do the All-Star voting. That way, if people don't care, the AI can select it. But if you do care, you can choose your own - even to mirror real life, if you wished.

In a sort of related question... is there any way to *manage* an All-Star game instead of just watching it? In the years when my team somehow manages to win the World Series, I'd like to have the honor of managing the AL team the following year. I didn't know if it was something you could do if you enabled commish mode - I'll have to try that when the All-Star game rolls around in my league this year.

You can select the stadium but you can not pick the league. If you are not playing with the real MLB schedule you can not have one league or the other hosts it back to back years.
I play in Commish mode so I know if in Commish mode when the ASG comes around Go to Scores & Schedule and click manage onthe ASG. From there you can select which league you want to manage and other game options. I use the DH for some leagues. I always change the stadium for my fictional leagues, etc.
