Draft class too small

So, i'm playing a historical league and I've arrived at the first draft.

There are only 5 players in the draft class, and one is named "firstname lastname"

What gives?

I have both historical rookies options selected in the league setup

What year? Which DB? How many rounds? What other info can you provide? It seems like you do have a database path set otherwise it would have produced fictional players. Did you start with 1871? Need more info.

started with 2011. Not sure how to answer the rounds question....I used whatever the default settings were

Wild guess here. Are you using the 2012 Lahman DB released Dec 2012?

If not, then starting "historical" in 2011 means you have nothing for 2012. There are no historical rookies in the database because 2012 had not been played yet. Real time rosters are provided from a roster set which is a totally different animal than a historical database. As indicated the Lahman DB was just completed approx 3 months ago.

If you did use the 2012 version then I don't know what to say.
