Relocation question

In my current OOTP game, I have an absurdly large league (US + Cuba + Mexico + Japan + Korea + Taiwan leagues merged). I like a bit of dynamism regarding franchises in my leagues - ideally it'd be like pre-1900 baseball, when teams were added and dropped out all the time, but I know the engine doesn't include contraction.

Franchise relocation is on, and it has its share of small market teams, teams losing money and the like. But I've completed for four years, and not once has a team changed cities. Is there anything I can do to make it happen more often?

I don't think so. This feature should (note: I don't know this for sure) be more likely with more teams just as a matter of probabilities, but I'm pretty sure there's no setting to increase or decrease the chance of a change.

I know in one league I have sort-of multiple leagues as you described birdboy - since I play in commissioner mode what I do is just try to put in very realistic finances and constantly check each team to see if they are losing a lot of money - in which case I manually edit down their budget for next year. If they do it too often, I have manually contracted teams. I am not sure the in-game processes for relocation will happen enough for you to be happy, but you can run for a while and see how it goes.
