Another question

The features list said there are improvements to the pbp. How exactly was this improved?

A shameless bump but it's something I'm extremely interested in.

I assume there will be more lines introduced. And I can't think of anything else that can be done since the pbp is excellent already. But will there be anything else improved in the pbp that wasn't in the list of features? Thanks for any answers.

This kind of post should stay in OTD.

I'm a longtime customer and I'm entitled to ask questions about the newest edition.

You hiding from the truth? It is obvious the mods in OTD will not enforce the forum rules so maybe a mod in this forum will take the 30 seconds needed to do the right thing.

I'm not gonna be involved in an arguement in the regular forum.

In the meantime, does anyone have any information on my original question?

Improved play-by-play commentary and the new 'pitch to contact' button. Other then that I am not sure.

Thank you. That's probably it unless someone posts. Probably enough. The pbp is so good there's not much room for improvement other than adding more lines.

Well, with that and the flexible fonts, I think that's enough to spend my money again this year. If Markus can work in the IPHRs, it will be a bonus.

Timmy keep that in OTD. CC mods this forum at times also.

Hopefully we get rid of the "Oh No" guy and yes add more lines. I read you post on the ISTPHR, I guess I don't play enough modern parks to see an issue with it, but I can post that in the other thread.

I have a feeling, JJM, that it's one of those things that are mentioned pretty much every year, like "Improved AI." Not that it's not true, of course. I'm sure they got guy(s) scrubbing such stuff for every version. I have noticed such improvements, even though they cannot be listed here individually.

I think it would be nice to see more fielders losing the ball when they crash into the wall. The PBP usually has the fielder hitting the wall AND HE HOLDS ON TO IT...which is great but not near enough going the other way. I would think that kind of thing is mostly cosmetic anyway and having the ball come loose more often would add to the suspense as the PBP unfolds.

I agree totally. Just like adding the IPHRs we're discussing in the othe thread. It's all cosmetic but adds to the fun of playing out the pbp.
