Here's my first take on the St. Louis Westerns. I'm still trying to use colors that haven't been used yet in your league, PW, but let me know if you had something different in mind for the Westerns - I don't mind re-working the logo if you want.

in my opinion, these two have been the best logo's yet in this thread. that name was great on their original NHL team, and its so region specific its almost unbelievable. just super simplistic and clean. Awesome job.

Out of curiosity, where did you find that cowboy logo on the "Westerners" logo you did? Assuming you used an original logo, of course...
I looked around a lot for cowboy-style logos, and found plenty, but I think I never saw this sillhouette. |

Without looking it up, I want to say it is the font the Reds use on the back of their current jerseys. If I am correct, then it is in eriqjaffe's set.

Here is PW's version of the Athletics. It didn't make a lot of sense to use the elephant since you most likely have your own unique back story.
![]() For the Rivercats, did you have the four-legged kind in mind or catfish? |

"I've heard it both ways." I think I'm actually leaning toward 4-legged nowadays, but either way is cool. I may have enough 4-legged animals in my league already. For the record, though, I should point out that the RiverCats have used black and gold, (Steeler colors), as long as I've had them. With that in mind though, I'm open to most any color combination you come up with. Just be sure to save Red and white, (or perhaps red and grey) for the Birmingham Rebels, whenever we get around to them. ![]() As a nifty little side-note, that Westerns logo has proven so popular with the fictional St. Louis folk that a statue in that image stands outside the gates of Gateway Stadium to this day.

Tx Ranger- Awesome! I have never heard of the French Lick Plutos before! Very cool! Here are some suggestions (you dont have to do them, just throwing them out for anyone)- Schenectady's Mohawk Giants, Indian Head Rockets, Jackie Robinson's American All-Stars, Kansas City All-Nations, Joe Louis Brown Bombers, Bismark Churchills, Ethiopian Clowns, Harlem Globetrotters, and Page Fence Giants to just name a few.

Boy, what a logo. Super nice tx!
That's one of the great things about this thread, it is almost like a mini history lesson. Up until you posted your logo, I never knew that such a team existed! Very nice find of the character image of Pluto. I really like the uniform, too! Super nice job! Thanks |
