FHM featured on British Ice Hockey.co.uk

So I asked Sebastian if it would be ok for them to post a write up about the game if I sent them some information. He said it's ok so here it is!...

Franchise Hockey Manger 13 | British Ice Hockey

They have just over 10,000 people on their facebook page, and however many more visit the site - hopefully it increases the interest and sales of FHM!

I like this, nice write-up and promotion for the game.

However it might also be worth mentioning that they were solo prior to being with SI, that was for the first 7 versions of OOTP and only with SI for two versions, ootp2006 & ootp2007. Maybe it's nitpicky but it makes it sound like OOTP is an original SI Game when it's not. They had good influence on it for sure, but it's always been Markus' baby.

Hey - I noticed that straight away haha! I sent them the information they wanted and that's how it came back.

The only 'positive' if you will on that is, most people on British Ice Hockey will know what Football Manager is and will usually think 'well if its as good as FM is...' and hopefully lead to loads of nice sales

Well we're on 14 likes on the facebook post. Plus a few comments. Lets hope that means 14 extra sales and counting!

Noticed that, the whole site seems down atm. Maybe it was all the interest that caused them to crash?

Well yeah we all do? It's just another way of promoting the game so when it does get released there is enough sales to make version 2 happen!

Also, SI didn't come out with 3 versions of EHM...it was freeware then 2 versions from SI.

There was also a fourth version of sorts in between EHM 2005 and 2007. In Sept 2006 SI released a large patch for EHM 2005 which introduced a range of new features, etc. It was pretty much a pared down full release - an EHM 2006 of sorts.
