My Global Hockey League have approved 2 expansion teams for season #2. Quebec City Tigers and Hawaii Islanders. Too help lessen the travel for Hawaii,they will play 10 neutral site home games in California.

My training camps have opened and all players are unknown. All teams have been banned from watching Toronto Maple Leaf games. Violation of this rule may send the team to a delagation league.

Global Hockey League has announced it will go with 30 teams for its first season. Just added:

Quebec City Tigers
St. Louis Stallions
Cincinnati Cyclones
Seattle Kings
Hawaii Islanders(10 home games too be played in California)
California Cobras(Bakersfield,CA)

All teams are replacing NHL teams and will be permitted to carry 5 players that were on the original NHL team. Special consideration will be given to the team that replaces the Toronto Maple Leafs.

NHL's Philadelphia Flyers are now defunct after being acquired by Global Hockey League's Philadelphia Stars,Inc. Team will be known as the Philadelphia Stars.

KHL-North America's Philadelphia's Spartans have signed a 5 yr contract to play their home games in the rebuilt Spectrum.

Reports out of Toronto say that Maple Leaf players retired number's are coming down and being replaced by GHL Toronto Huskie banners.

GHL's New York Arrows missed first month's rent payment at Madison Square Garden.

FHA's Massachussett's Mutiny have announced that they have agreed on contracts of 10 current Boston Bruins and are trying to talk Tim Thomas out of retirement.

How does the DEL work? How many regular season games? How do the playoffs work? Do they have an all-star game? All I know is that they have 14 teams.

Looks like I will move the league to North America. Scorpions have already moved to San Jose. Freezers have moved to Fresno.

52 Regular season games per team. No Conference no division just every team against each other 4 times. From 7th to 10th Pre-Playoffs Best-of-three. Quarterfinal Best-of-Seven and then Best-of-five. No all-star game.
