End of An Era

After 13 seasons as Twins GM in my game (currently in 2025 off-season), I have officially ended my tenure with Twins. It was just getting to be too easy as I won the division 10 years in a row and won the WS 4 of the 10 years. I'm just starting to feel like OOTP isn't a challenge anymore. I know some of you will say to try the online league world. I have joined a league that is just starting up, so maybe that will spark something. Otherwise, it might be time for me close the OOTP chapter of my life.

It may be time. For me, if I win the World Series with a team, I resign and look to take over the last place team in that same division. It is fun to do that as you go up against your old players and players you are fond of that you drafted. It makes it even better trying to trade for the young talent you left behind.

I have been alternating between OOTP and my baseball video games, but may just look to throw in Football Manager 13. If you want a challenge, try being GM only for Jeffrey Luria. Imagine getting personal messages every week that the fan base almost crashed!
