TWBL has 4 Openings - Create yourself as a Player

Hi,

The Ted Williams Baseball League is in its 3rd OOTP season (following 11 seasons with FPS Baseball '98) so we're here to stay.

We're currently using OOTPv4 and testing OOTPv5 as a possible change for next season.

We have 4 openings :

Yankees
Blue Jays
Indians
Marlins


Some of the League Features :

Create-A-Player : each manager can create a player using a fixed set of ratings that may be put into any of the categories the manager sees fir.

2 Contract Extensions : we allow only 2 to keep the Free Agent pool talented so teams can rebuild fairly quickly.

Salary Cap of $100 Mil. -- We only use the cap, profitability is not a factor (unless you want to build, rebuild or change your stadium). You also need to have cash if you want to do Promotional days.



We REQUIRE all managers send in a lineup, export file, attend a sim OR send an e-mail saying 'no changes' in at least one of every 5 sims. (that's 2 1/2 real weeks) I don't feel this is too much to ask of a manager.

You read right... This league started in 1997 as a Hardball 5 league and grew through the FPS Era and then finally changed over to OOTP. The league has never folded or had Prolonged lay-offs....

We went 3 seasons of HB5, 11 of FPS and now we're about to start our 4th with OOTP.

The problem is we want ACTIVE managers. Now I'm not asking you to post to the message forum every day or send articles or any of that stuff. You don't get 'Reward or Bonus' Points for being the most active -- We just want folks that don't go more then 5 sims without being active (send a lineup or be at a sim or just a simple 'no change' e-mail).

So if you can fit this mold and want to join in the fun -- come to the TWBL !!!
