Who's your favorite player in Real Baseball today?

Yeah tough one huh? So cmon who do you just love to watch at the plate or on the mound or in the field most? I'll give a little leniency you can pick 1 of each.

1 Batter: As much as I enjoy watching Hamilton ding one out of the park my favorite batter would have to be Pujols. Many a year have I tried to get him on my OOTPBB teams.

2 Pitcher: As much as I hate him I'd still have to go with Verlander as my favorite pitcher.

3 Fielder: This is a tough one because I love a good outfielder who runs full speed for the ball (unlike Cruz who's scared of the wall(s)) and makes fantastic catches on the run or leaping up over the wall and stealing a Home Run. I'll have to get back with this one.

It hurt seeing him leave Toronto, but I knew it was the right thing for all parties.

I still watch the out-by-out perfect game once in a while.

Tie between Cutch and Brandon Beachy for overall.

Hitting would be Josh Hamilton.

Best fielder would be Andrelton Simmons.

Homer pick has to be Chris Sale. Stud when firing on all cylinders, but every pitch is an adventure in it of itself because I have no idea how his arm will hold up. His 15 strikeout game was so fun to watch.

Non-homer pick has to be Trout right now. The guy is so quick and has great defensive ability that it's still a bit hard to believe he can mash the ball the way that he can. Hopefully he can keep it up.

Mine are all homer picks. I'm a life long Tigers fan

Batter: Miguel Cabrera (Wish they had 8 more starters that hit like him)

Pitcher: Justin Verlander ("The best pitcher on the planet")

Fielder: Curtis Granderson (even though he is now a Yankee) Still remember the interview after he was traded, he had tears in his eyes. He did alot for the community during his time in Detroit.

I don't agree with that at all. I'm a diehard Mets fan, but my favorite player for quite a while was Carl Crawford til he got hurt and went in the tank.

I watched him for two years when he was in Triple-A and he was tremendous.

And I love Carl Crawford! (Probably becuase I drafted him as a rookie in my strat keeper league when nobody else in my league thought he was worth anything...)

When I was a kid I always had a favorite player. I don't really think of it so much now but I don't want to imagine my Dodgers without Clayton Kershaw and Matt Kemp!

Same as the D fan above, im still a big Grandy fan, he was great while in Detroit and did so much community work, a great guy.
