Couple of Hall of Fame suggestions

Hey guys, first time posting on here in almost five years for me. I've gotten more than hooked on OOTP now ever since I got '13 as a graduation present in June.

I have two Hall of Fame related suggestions for next year's game (apologies if these have been brought up in past posts).

1) Add a realistic, BBWAA-style elections process for the Hall into the game. Have news articles about players narrowly missing the cut for induction, have the full ballot listed including players who don't stand a chance of getting in, have players get inducted on later ballots, et cetera.

2) Add the option to sort by year of induction in the Hall of Fame pages.

Agree with the second option, but I think the first would be almost impossible to execute. It'd be easier just to pretend there's a subjective committee that inducts, like VanillaGorilla did with his random debut HoF.

Thanks for the plug.

The end point for the experiment is to code it, and it is codable. Everything is done through a procedure. By doing it manually, as I have, I get a reading on how the procedure nets results. I want to be sure that the method, which seems good in my head, yields realistic results in its execution. I am tweaking a couple of things I haven't mentioned in the thread that are, imo, improvements for the follow-up run through.

If Markus chooses to add Black/Gray Ink and HOFm/s tabulations to OOTP 14, that will make things much easier for an automated HOF using my model.

I think Black Ink etc would be very good additions to OOTP, regardless of any other ideas for the HoF.

I would also like to see this with Allstar selections. A voting process with being able to view the results. I would love a link or something to Vanilla's Random debut HOF if it was possible. What a great idea.
