Nice comeback, it does beg the question why J. Roberts was allowed to be in the game long enough to allow 11 ER though.

Nice comeback. I would have been so mad if I was Tampa Bay.

I played out that game, I was a little shocked they didnt pull him before the 11 runs.

I feel like the inning could have been different but I was very aggressive on the basepaths, especially during this inning, 5 of the 7 steals were in that inning, having runners in scoring position and taking away forceouts and DP opportunities may have helped

I see your 12-run inning and raise you.

It's not exactly a comeback, per se, but the final score of 20-5 (10) is hysterical.

Now you've got me wondering—what's the major league record for largest margin of victory in an extra-inning game?

Also, on about the OP, I just noticed that Harrell hit two home runs off of J. Roberts in the 7th inning.

Yeah Clark was up, so I PH with Baker, he walked, stole 2nd then Harrell bombed, then later Baker came up again with the bases loaded, hit a 2 run single (advanced) and then Harrell bombed a 3 run HR

On another interesting note, Baker and Lopez performed 2 successful double steals in the same inning

A quick Google search finds the answer: 12 runs.

On July 3, 1983, the Rangers and Athletics went into extra innings with the score tied 4-4. The Rangers went on to score 12 runs in the top of the fifteenth inning to win the game 16-4.

Here is the Retrosheet box score and play-by-play account for the game.
