What NHL team is your favourite?

Reading one of the threads here and saw a lot of folks that identified as Flyer fans, I wonder how many folks we have of each fanbase here.

Hence this poll.

EDIT: Couldn't get every team on here because.....well the poll options on this forum suck. So went with the top thirteen. Those that were lumped into the other category, sorry.

Having grown up without hockey in the Uk I don't have the depth of emotional attachment to any team. Previously I might have said Montreal but I'm going to pick Columbus. It's a pity thing partly I admit. I find want to say 'all of them' because that is a soft answer. I would probably also root fot a future expansion team as well because they have no history that I missed.

This would explain why the Hawks were so good in the screen shots lol

I am a lifelong Edmonton Oilers fan. Been tough to watch the past little while but things are certainly looking up for the shortened season!

For me it's:
San Jose Sharks, then Tampa Bay Lightning and Toronto Maple Leafs
I'm fan of these three teams since like 1998 or so when I first saw something about NHL (so Tampa was prety bad back then 50+ losses per season was norm )

I don't really have one favorite team in NHL since I'm from Europe and I don't follow NHL that much. But I quite watched it in the 90's and I liked mostly Penguins and Sabres (I also like penguin as an animal - Linux user). Now I like Bruins, Flyers and few other teams as well.

I'm the only (first ?) senators fan - though I hesitated before not picking the other category which would have represented in roughly equal parts the WHA Winnipeg Jets, a fictitious Hamilton Tigers and the hey-day of the Soviet National team.

Life long Rangers fan. Suffered a lot of abuse as a kid and young adult from the 1940 chants. Now I can't believe how long it's been since 1994.

Ducks fan since 1996 and that won't ever change, even with Barstool Bob as our GM. I don't even trust him getting on his pants all by himself.

I'm a lifelong Boston Bruins fan who lives in the middle of Vancouver Canucks territory.

June 2011 was a wonderful time!
