I have an Athlon 850, 320 MB RAM and using Windows ME.
In my league.. my starters totally suck, but my relief pitching is really good... so I thought I would try putting my relief pitchers as my starters. The game would let me put 1 relief pitcher in as a starter.. but if I put 2,3 or 4 relievers in as starters... OOTP3 would crash as soon as I tried to simulate. Is this a bug... or is it setup that relief pitchers can't pitch as starters? Kurtis CUBL Commish

Were they listed in your depth chart as both starters and relievers?

So you left them in the reliever spots and tried to start them?

Its kind of like starting Billy Koch or John Rocker.. they are great relievers... but who knows how they would do as a starter.. so I thought I would try to see how they would work out.
I had 1 reliever in as a starter and he did very well... so I figured I would try the other guys... as soon as I put 2, 3, or 4 relievers in the starting rotation.. the game crashed as soon as I tried to simulate the set of games. Kurtis CUBL Commish

Was your rotation setting and the number of pitchers in it set to the same? In other words, 5 man rotation with 5 pitchers in it or were the numbers off?

I wonder why mine wouldn't work.. there must've been something else not right. CUBL Commish
