As the July ratings indicate, the biggest fights out there are either a unification match between the two world Champions, or Sam Langford getting a crack at either one of them. With Schmeling set to defend against Jeff Sims (who is not ranked by the WBC) it would seem Langford's shot will come against Sharkey. Other speculation centers on the Tommy Burns / Cleveland Williams fight with the winner getting a crack at Sharkey. With Williams being taken out by Schmeling in 1 round back in March and Burns not looking the part after 2 straight draws, that fight seems a tough sell. Harrison is another who could get a shot at Sharkey, if a Langford fight falls though.
