I noticed the lack of updated rosters on OOTP forums even though there is at least an decent demand for updated rosters, so I decided to post my rosters. Editing rosters is very time consuming and tedious, but I'm the kind of person who hates playing with outdated rosters in any sports game; This is a roster from a person who is obsessed with up-to-date rosters. ENJOY!

Changes:
-Added about 40% of 2012 1st round picks to their respective teams (among them Correa, Zunino, Almora, Buxton, Stroman, and more)
-Trades as of October 2012 are included
-Adjusted top prospect ratings (check out top prospect list in OOTP, you can see I used Baseball America and MLB.com's top 100 list to rank prospects)
-ex. notable changes include Profar at #1, Taveras at #7, and Castellanos at #14
-Changed ratings of all starters (offense and pitching) using Fangraphs stats
-edited current and potential ratings based on real life stats
-adjusted GB% for pitchers using Fangraphs
-includes major injuries (ex. Rivera and Ellsbury)
-adjusted market size, fan loyalty, fan interest and team budget to reflect real life numbers.
-added contract extensions signed as of October 2012

I like what you've done to the rosters and player attributes. Also creating the drafted players is nice. A suggestion: Apply these rosters to either a newly created 2013 quickstart or to a league already in progress at the end of the 2012 season.

I appreciated the work. Updated rosters are great and I sure don't have time to do it

Agreed with the post above me. Great job on the rosters, if you made this into a quickstart or a file that was at the current date (November 2012) that would be awesome as thats where I am looking to start my league!

I am in the process of putting together a file that contains the 2012 minor league stats. I already have a spreadsheet with the major league stats.

What I'd like to do is to create a quick start, using your rosters and include the 2012 stats.

The start date of the quick start would be the end of the 2012 World Series.

The one drawback that I see is I will have to sim the 2012 season, to get the start date be the end of the World Series. So, the 2012 standings that will be reflected in the quick start will be that sim's standings. I don't believe it is possible to end the standings to make them the actual standings.

My goal is to have something by the end of the week.

I did notice 1 error. You still have Jason Maxwell on the Yankees. He spent the 2012 season with the Astros.

Winter Meetings start on Monday and also lots of Teams are DFA or Trading people right know before Non tenered Deadline. You can get Stats to Today but start date would be 1-1-2013.

i can't get this to work. an error pops up when i try to load it from a quickstart. i think i'm doing something wrong

1. unzip file
2. drag entire folder into My Documents/Out of the Park Developments/OOTP baseball 13/quickstart_games

Hopefully this helps

I'm not sure how to but I'll try. I'm still waiting for notable free agents like Hamilton and Bourn to be taken off the market before I release an updated roster.

I am new to OOTP, so forgive me if this question is something really easy. I was trying to use the modded quickstart and I am trying to move the Astros to the AL west. When I try to do this, I can not because the current date in the game is after the pre-season. Does anyone know either how to change the current date or how to move the Astros to the AL in this scenario?
