Taking a historical league and making a draft pool.

Is it possible in OOTP13 to take a historical year (say 1955...or even 2012) and throw everyone into a draft pool so that, essentially, you're redrafting the league? (Posey possibly becomes a Pirate....Hamilton is a Cub....Strasburg wears an Astro uniform....etc)?

Yes. There's an option to release all players and set up an inaugural draft in one of the league setup options (if you've aleady started the league). I can't remember as it's been awhile but you may be able to do it when you set up the league as well.

Can you then control (from commish mode) who goes where? (actually fix it so Hamilton IS a Cub, Posey a Pirate....etc?

Yes you can.

In Commissioner Mode you can easily move players to specific teams using the player editor.

If you put yourself in control of every team for the draft, then you can pick players as you like.
