Non-bevelled...just a personal preference.

Cuss, you are a very talented, creative and skilled logo designer.

I voted for both generic and city name. Have a generic download file for those who have the graphic skills to add the city...and have a file with the city for those that don't have the graphic skills.

I voted for "non-bevelled" because I prefer logos that show up well when installed in the game. The simpler designs are more easy to see. I have only installed 28 logos in my league. so I'm very limited in experience.

The larger the city name and nickname, the better I like them...but I also want to see the team mascot or symbol, too.
That's hard to do in such a small space.

The complex and fancy logs are really nice, but don't seem to be as easy to see in the game...especially on the smaller picture frames...like the roster screen and the lineup comparison screen.

Keep up the great work.

Both original designs and alternative MLB designs.

Make them all available.

I enjoy seeing new logos for all types of teams so the original designs would be my favorite. However, when someone comes up with an alternative to the MLB logos that really adds something special to the genre then those are really nice to see. In other words, the Metzkid logos are something great and anything as original as those should never be consider simply as being alternative in the least.

If you ever get any other great ideas for alternative MLB logo sets and would like some help just drop me a line and I'll see what I can do.

Both cubs are excellent...prefer the gray background...black does not show up well when installed in OOTPB.

Seahawks is nice, too.

Question for you logo geniuses: Is this normal or just in my computer? (black background not showing up well).

The black is supposed to be transparent and not show up at all. The gray backgrounds look better IMO simply because I am not a big fan of transparency in the logos. A full-bodied logo looks best to me.

Cuss,

They look really good. I know that it is the hardest aspect to work on and get just right but the heads look kind of funky compared to the rest of the body. On the Seattle logo the face looks like a mask while the Cubs face looks more complete. Although the Cubs hat looks like it blends too much with the face since it is the same color and the rim looks out of place. If you could use the Cubs face with the Seattle hat then that might look a bit better. This could just be me though so take a good look at them before making any changes to decide what you think would look best.

As far as the background is concerned I would suggest leaving them on a gray or white background that remains squared instead of having rounded edges, a personal preference once again, and maybe leave out any type of boarder so that they extend completely to each edge.

The only other notable change might be the Cubs left leg that extends down into the C with the Bear looks like it might be better off being left out. Try it out and see what you think.

Other than that they look really cool. I really like this idea and it hits right on target with the "special" quality that I was referring to in my previous post. I would love to see a complete set like this.

EDIT: one more note after having looked at them again. If you left a bit of room on all four sides for some of the background to show then the logo itself might take more shape instead of being cramped in the 150x150 space. The amount of space at the bottom of the Cubs logo between the text and the edge looks about right for all 4 sides.
