financial question
Hi all,
Here's what's probably a fairly simple question for someone who knows what they're doing. Let's say I have $10M in budget space. Available funds also says that I have $15M for extensions and $20M for free agents. Does this mean that I'm limited to spending $10M, or can I use that accumulated cash and blow the budget number for the year by potentially spending that $35M mentioned in available funds? The league has revenue sharing, but no hard cap. Thanks in advance. |

As you spend one the other will be lowered.

Thanks for the reply.
I understand that much, so perhaps I should have asked differently. I suppose what I need to ask is if my budget has space of $10M, but I spend $30M in available funds, is there any negative to spending $20M over my budget for the year, assuming that's possible? Is the owner likely to cut spending off at some point, as long as the available funds are there? |

I don't think so, other than eating up spare cash.
