Position Experience

This is a Noob question from a non-Noob.

Do players gain experience at a position if played there in ML games? For some reason I thought that in previous versions of OOTP, they only gained experience if being "taught" in the minors.

Yes, As long as a player has at least a 1 for IF/OF/C he will have a 1 there after 1 game. There are many factors involved if he will gain decent experience at a new position, age, work ethic and i am drawing a blank on some more. Takes 25-35 games per experience point but it also depends on if the player was a SS now playing 3B or 2B vs a SS playing CF or RF.
